What does it mean to self-reporting my IAPP CPEs?

  • PRISA will not be accepting or submitting CPEs on the reader’s behalf at this time.
  • This means it will be the responsibility of the reader to submit the CPEs to IAPP.
  • It is recommended by IAPP to submit within 90 days of the published date of each issue of the newsletter or the reader may not receive credit.

How do I self-report to IAPP for CPE credits?

  • Visit this link: https://iapp.org/certify/cpe-submit/
  • If you are not logged on, you will be re-directed to log into your IAPP account.
  • Then after, you will be redirected back to the IAPP submission area for “New CPE”.
  • From the Certifications tab on your IAPP account, you can manage your CPE submissions, read the certification terms, and keep track of your credits.
  • Credits are usually applied within 2 weeks of submission.

Am I eligible to submit CPEs?

  • You must be a holder of one of the following IAPP certifications: CIPP/A, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/C, CIPM, CIPT, CDPO/BR, CDPO/FR
